With its hip urban scenes, cultural settings, and historical landmarks, this is no sleepy little Midwestern town.
Downtown Indianapolis is Amazingly Always New; there’s always something new around every corner! Great attractions, museums, performing arts, parks, sports, shopping, dining, historic sites and monuments are all conveniently placed in enjoyable, walkable cityscape. Because Indy’s Downtown has so much, so close, visitors enjoy a full array of fun, even on a short visit.
Everyone loves to eat and shop! With more than 270 restaurants and bars Downtown, you’ll find something to satisfy every appetite. In the summer, nearly 70 restaurants offer outdoor café seating. The Circle City offers dozen of options to eat and shop, plus many unique retailers can be found on the side streets of Downtown Indianapolis. Mass Ave is known for its eclectic shops and galleries; Fountain Square is a real find for antique lovers. Indianapolis City Market offers homegrown Indiana produce and hard-to-find delicacies in an historic setting.
